Wialus is proud to be participating in Wellington City’s Summer of Code (SoC), a non-profit programme that creates paid summer internship opportunities for students in technology companies.
Wialus is hosting two students for four months, undertaking research and development for the company’s software as a service (SaaS) product suite.
The SoC programme, founded by John Clegg and now run by Grow Wellington, partners with key industry and tertiary stakeholders to help accelerate the students’ work-readiness.
SoC also provides a series of weekly industry events and networking opportunities during the summer, bringing together interns, their host companies and the wider ICT community.
Now in its fourth year, SoC has placed 70 students in 40 companies across Wellington, including Xero, Weta Digital, Trade Me and Project X.
